Here at HBM, we strive to fill our gallery with many kinds of quality art. We also hope to help members and other deviants find what they're looking for. Therefore, here is a list of folders and their descriptions. When submitting artwork to the group, please take care to submit to the correct folder, otherwise your submission will be denied. If any description is difficult to understand or otherwise unclear, or if your submission doesn't quite fit any of the folders, don't hesitate to ask us about it!

And remember, folks. The Mature and Gore categories take precedence!

Digital Art

OC: For all original characters created by yourself. Submissions must be made using digital media, including anything from Photoshop to MS Paint.

OC Fanart: For all original characters that you've drawn that belongs to another deviant. Submissions must be made using digital media, including anything from Photoshop to MS Paint.

3D: For all characters, original or canon, created using 3D modeling. Submissions must be made using digital media, including anything from Photoshop to MS Paint.

Fanart: For all canon characters, whether they're from books, tv shows, movies, etc. Submissions must be made using digital media.

Portrait: For all paintings and depictions of real people, whether they be actors or reference models. Submissions must be made using digital media, including anything from Photoshop to MS Paint.

Traditional Art

OC: For all original characters, whether it's your own or fanart of another deviant's. Submissions must be made using traditional media, including anything from pencils to acrylics.

OC Fanart: For all original characters that you've drawn that belongs to another deviant. Submissions must be made using traditional media, including anything from pencils to acrylics.

Fanart: For all canon characters, whether they're from books, tv shows, movies, etc. Submissions must be made using traditional media, including anything from pencils to acrylics.

Portrait: For all paintings and depictions of real people, whether they be actors or reference models. Submissions must be made using traditional media, including anything from pencils to acrylics.

Photography

Cosplay: For all photographs of men dressing up as characters from canon series without the use of heavy photomanipulation. We do not accept photographs featuring female cosplayers, even if they are portraying a male character.

Portrait: For all photographs of real-life models not portraying a character from a canon series. Must also have no heavy photomanipulation.

Photomanipulation: For all photographs that have been heavily edited using software like Photoshop.

Miscellaneous

Mature: For all submissions (traditional, digital, photography, etc.) that contain mature content. This includes suggestive/sexual themes and nudity.

Gore: For all submissions (traditional, digital, photography, etc.) that contain blood, gore, and extreme violence.
